Question

How do I log in to and use Google Calendar?

Answer

1. Tap on the Google Calendar icon (or go to https://calendar.google.com/)
2. If you are logged into Google Meet, tap on your username to turn on your Google Calendar. (If you're not logged into Google Meet, please do that first.)
3. Tap the Hamburger in the top left corner  (three horizontal lines)
4. Tap checkboxes to turn on all calendars (lower school should see 20xx Students, middle school should see all Google Classrooms they're a member of).
5. Change view from Weekly to Schedule view.
6. Tap on an event; tap link to join. 

Starting in version 20.33 of Google Calendar, Zoom links sometimes redirect to maps. This is a known bug. If this happens, we recommend two workarounds:
1. Click on another event and then another Zoom link. Links will begin opening in Zoom, but it may take a few attempts. Once Zoom opens, all Google Calendar links that are calls should consistently open in Zoom. 

2. Copy the link in Google Calendar (long press on link > Copy), open Safari, tap in address bar, tap Paste and Go.
