No Sound on the iPad

If you don't hear any sound on your iPad, here are a few things to try: 

1. Hold the power button and home button down on the iPad for a full 15 seconds.
2. Double check that the volume is somewhere in the middle--tap the volume up on the side of the iPad to confirm
3. Double check that something isn't shoved into the headphone port. 
4. Double check that the iPad isn't muted. Swipe from the top right corner to the middle and make sure the silent icon is NOT selected  
5. Check to see if another video will play sound
